Late Withdrawal Results in Harry Brook’s Ban from the IPL till 2028

Harry Brook's

The world has come to know about the withdrawal of Harry Brook’s (26 years old an England player) from Indian Premier League (IPL)2025.In the result of his withdrawal from the IPL, the management has decided to ban him from IPL until 2028.

This is his second time that he has decided to withdrawal from the Indian premier league. Last year, in 2024 he withdrew himself from the IPL due to the death of his grandmother.

The reason for his withdrawal this year in 2025 was he wanted to take some rest and wanted to gain some energy for the forthcoming matches of his country England as he said that “I have to do what I believe is right and playing for my country remains my priority and focus”.

In response to his withdrawal, the board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has banned him for two years from IPL. According to (BCCI) only injury and medical condition is acceptable other personal reasons will not be accepted

The reason for this strict reaction by the (BCCI) was to maintain the value of the team. Board of Control For Cricket of Indian (BCCI)wanted to announce that the team has some rules and regulations and these rules should not be broken by some personal reason.

Moeen Ali who was the former player of England himself strengthen the stance of (BCCI).He said that these types of personal withdrawal should not be accepted because these can disturb the value and strategy of the team

His sudden withdrawal can disturb Delhi Capitals, who invested on him. The team is now suffering without the important player of the team

In the end, I must say The BCCI has taken the right decision to ban him from the IPL for two years because it is not right to suddenly withdraw from the team.

This hurt the values of the team and also disturbed the strategy of the team. A professional cricket never do such things only for his personal reason.
